Can I filter by specific towns?

Yes! You can pick a single town, select multiple towns by clicking their badges, or search all 7 towns at once. The wheel pulls restaurants only from your selected towns.

Can't Decide Where to Eat?

Select one town, a few favorites, or all 7 shoreline towns. Use the dropdown or tap the town badges to toggle them on and off.

Spin the Wheel

Hit the spin button and watch the wheel go. It lands on one of 10 cuisine categories — including Pizza, Italian, Seafood, Asian, Mexican, and even Dessert.

Discover Restaurants

The wheel picks the cuisine, then shows you matching restaurants from your selected towns. Results are randomized fresh every spin.

Ways to Choose Your Towns

All Towns

By default, all 7 towns are selected. You'll see restaurants from East Haven to Old Saybrook, giving you the widest selection possible.

Single Town

Use the "Filter by town" dropdown to narrow it down to just one town. Only restaurants from that town will appear in results.

Mix and Match

Click the town badges to toggle individual towns on or off. Want Branford and Guilford but not Madison? Just tap the badges.

On Town Pages

Visit any town page and spin from there. The wheel automatically filters to that town's restaurants, so every result is local.

About the Results

Every time you spin, the results are shuffled fresh. No two spins give you the same order. The wheel pulls from our complete database of 330+ restaurants sourced directly from local health departments.

Featured restaurants appear first in their category. These are local restaurants that have partnered with A Bite of Nutmeg, and they'll also show a direct link to their website so you can check out their menu.

After the featured restaurants, everything else is randomized. The more towns you select, the more options you'll see. If a spin comes up empty for a category in your selected towns, just spin again or add more towns.
